to have missed the announcement about Jane Russell this morning....bloody housework....bloody chickens....bloody cats.....
.
but we also lost another screen goddess yesterday...Annie Giradot, the French actress and star of films such as Docteur Françoise Gailland and L'Homme aux clés d'or, aged 79
.
We bid a fond farewell to Frank Buckle, the last surviving US soldier from WWI, aged 110
.
And the Eddie Kirkland, the Blues guitarist, aged 88
.
Gone, but never forgotten R.I.P

Me too.... devestated that is. But that's because I had been ripening a giant comice pear in the fruit bowl for a week.... today it was perfect, juicy, ripe and..... I dropped the feckin' thing and it exploded on the kitchen floor! |
