I've ssaid it before I'd like a lady to be involved in my life to enjoy a relationship and the ups and downs of that..
For a near 52 year old I think I'm in reasonable shape , I'm okay looking I think my mum says I'm the best looking bloke in my house. , I think I've a decent personality ..
I'm on a couple of dating sites I get a bit of interest .. it doesn't seem to lead me anywhere.
Is there such a thing as an undateable.?? |

i'm chatting to guys who are interested in dating me, except their idea of dating is being sexual in less than 24 hrs...i suspect they're lying co my idea of dating is going out, and getting to know more than each others genitals. |

I just find the whole dating game gets harder the older you get......I have to keep reminding myself that I am looking for different things in a guy now than I used to several years ago, yet still used to find myself looking at the ones I would have dated when a lot younger so decided to leave the dating site and join fab .......It has only been the last six months that I realise that I am just getting to the stage now when I really know what I want in a man.....so undatable...... who knows if I am or not to somebody, maybe one day soon I will give it ago again and find out... |

I feel like i am but then to be fair i cut people of before they get the date word out. I have been on litrally 2 dates both disasters that put me off a bit but that was over a year ago now so who knows |

To be fair, I'm 26 and I get gals comfortable enough and me comfortable enough with them to go to bed within hours. If you're not capable of that at 35+ you, woman or man, should probably rethink your approach towards other humans.
As you go on with age, you're supposed to learn not to waste time on trivial things AND refine your people-reading skills. I'd advise to make sure those are lessons you DID actually learn  |

Maybe it could be that over 35's have different thoughts about dating to 26 year olds, I take the word to mean going out together, getting to know each other and bonding rather than getting into Bed after 2 Hours....

I think you need to rethink your philosophy up until my last girl friend I had no problem what so ever with finding and dating women. It's only recently I have found this problem "

It's become apparent that I fall into the undateable category.
People seem to like me well enough but no one wants to date me. It's possibly down to the fact that I'm a bit weird and a bit awkward.
Also women don't really want to date someone with better hair than them.

There are loads of lovely single ladies out there. People rely on dating sites to much. Girls know other girls, talk to all girls and be pleasant at all times, that way you get to meet their friends etc. always works for me. I do think now though that most guys expect a girls knickers to be off far to quickly these days. |

My problem is that there are shorter, younger, properly single (no kids/baggage) women out there... Who don't live in such a hard to get to place...
It wouldn't matter what dating site I was on to realise that...

I found I needed to take a break from this site to focus on a relationship in order to make it successful. Maybe wasting time here, fucking or pursuing multiple people, isn't the best route for all. |

yeah, and when i blocked guys on here from messaging me they just contacted me on there, i just ignore them.
told one previous meet last night i wasn't looking for hook ups o POF, he says he wanted to date me and that's why he stopped talking to me...er ok? anyway he said he was up for dating and could he come round right now to see me (at gone 11pm)...i said dating is going out and that and not coming round to mine for a fuck. |

It's interesting that a discussion on being dateable or indeed being undateable appears on a swinging site. It seems many of us still like the idea of the social, wining and dining, walks, cinema, sporting event with a partner as well as the swinging side of things. The TV show Undateables has as its premise people who are undateable. It is really about those who maybe wouldn't be able to a attract a large number of potential dates for whatever reason. The show has proved though that there is hope for everyone and true love between two people who find being together is far more preferable than being alone does happen.
I don't get many replies to my messages, but I do meet some gorgeous ladies in clubs and as am not looking to date anyone, just playing and having fun is fine by me. I will concede that a regular FB would be nice but I wouldn't want to live together. |
