Hey all.

I know that this is a swingers site and it has a purpose.

I also feel that sites like these are also for the swinging community at large.

Now surely not all of us are attracted to everybody but it seems as if the social side apart from clubs are lacking.

I.e. the who is near tab, surely as a group in close proximity we should be able to meet for drinks or coffee and nothing else?

Also when messaging or conversing via the site not everybody that you interact with means it has to be a playdate.

It is a sex site for us .

We have made some good mates along the way , but only those we have played with .

We aren't in the slightest bit interested in socials and chat .

socials happen and do munches in the et world..they just take quite a bit to organize and if your primary function is to go out and play, you arent likely to make the effort, loads of singles nights ive seen( vanilla style), and clubs make events to cater for a wide variety of tastes..if you want to meet up socially with a group of others, the best thing to do is organize one then advertise it in the meets section, i would have thought x

Yea, it's a sex site but not everyone here is here just for the sex.

Though I get enough shit about it, I meant for my profile to make it clear that I'm here to chat and get to know like minded people. If more comes, along the way, great, as it occasionally does, but surprisingly, quite a few people enjoy the witty banter that comes from an anything goes outlook from the get go.

So, yea. There are those who see this as a place to chat and meet socially, too.

Like with most 'hobbies', you'll get one people who view this community in one way, and others who view it differently.

If you want a social, search the forums, see if there's one about. If not, arrange one!

I suppose it's a sex site, but if you are here expecting to get non-stop fucking, instantaneously, then you will be severely disappointed .

I use it ( mainly the forums) for amusement; and once in awhile you find someone who is really interesting.

I just feel that my success on the site has been nothing but success has come from going to the parties and engaging with people.

I get that people swing for different reasons but the amount of messages that i send vs responses is alarming.

I think if you actually get a reply its a miracle, surely you may meet somebody that entices you by engaging with them.

the social side is very much alive and well if you look closer...

lots of people advertise for coffee meets, sometimes in order to gain/give verifications but generally a place for other likeminded people to meet and enjoy each others company without being frowned upon.....I don't know whats about in your specific area but why not have a look in the organised meets section...

We met through Fab and have sex whenever possible but we also have dinner together too, so both really for us

well as you dont have a profile pic up, i cant say im surprised that going out and meeting people brings you more success being honest.attraction at such events can be verified almost immediately, where as through txt and no photos..not so much ..its a visual world, it has relevance xx

It's a sex site, first & foremost, but is also different things to different people, from just a fun site to an obsession.

Those that take the site too seriously and judge there own self worth, should take a break, but for some the forums are the only place in there lives where they have a voice x

The site is what you make it. I started here for one to one meets but soon realised there were Fab socials and forum socials to get involved in. I never would have heard of Swingfields if I hadn't been on the forums.

Being female I don't struggle too much to get meets, but I prefer the social side now.

For me a pic only portrays one side and a very superficial one. I reckon by my success rate on site i must be hideous looking but my in person meets reveal something different..........
