Me and my partner both enjoy watching erotic films (not terrible acting in between naff soft porn scenes but something where you can really get into the film as well as enjoy graphic sex scenes). our favourite so far is probably blue is the warmest colour. Can anyone recommend anything similar or suggest some of their favourites? |

Nah. It is so hard to find a decent sci-fi movie with good special effects and porn. It is just not happening. |

I really enjoyed 'Body of Evidence', I think it was called, with Willam Defoe and Madonna.
Had a good seedy undercurrent that ran through it...
Would've been a great film with a better actress than Madonna. She's hot but can't act... |

Lars Von Trier originally made this as a single film, but no distributors would touch it due to it being over 5 hrs long, so he agreed to re-edit and split it into 2 volumes. |

Wasteland is a hardcore porno that attempts to be a standard movie, with a narrative and actually compelling character motivation. It's really good and even got a "non-hardcore" cut for general distribution (which I wouldn't recommend  )
Very much recommended (though getting porn stars to act is.. predictably funny). |

I watched an interesting film about a woman author who had to fight to get her book published I think it was in the 70s all about the female body and the art of lovemaking and self pleasure and it was banned. She led an interesting personal life too, she lived with a female and male partner all in a relationship, it was u heard of them and she fought tooth and nail to get her book published she fought for rights for contraception too I can’t for the life of me think of the name x |

It may be the same thing, was she a surgeon and performed “backstreet” abortions whilst fighting for birth control to be legalised ? She was sexually proud and believed women should have choice to fuck for pleasure without the fear of unplanned pregnancy ? |

Okay, I've just watched through "The Sexual Liberation of Anna Lee" and I can thoroughly recommend it, with two caveats: it's far better in the second half than the first (which is a little ham-fisted), and the men are all far better actors than the women (which seems.. really common in porn? Dunno why).

I’m really turned off by artistic or dramatic erotic films. I hate sex scenes in films, I find them really pointless and boring - just an excuse for a bit of tit.
