Go into any decent shop that sells perfume and ask the assistant to advise you, they will be able to give you three at a time to compare. It's no good smelling more than that because it'll confuse your nose. |

"Ask her what she likes! I hate receiving perfume as a gift if the giver doesn't know what I like.
"
Me too, it's such an expensive thing to buy for someone too and a terrible waste if it's never worn. |

"Thanks friends, gonna smell those. A friend message to smell Angel. Have you tried ? "
Angel is a silage monster, a powerhouse! Not what you call moderate lol
It would be helpful to have more of an insight into the lady who you are buying for in order to make an appropriate choice for you...ie. age group, personality, clothing style. However, based on my favourites for evening I would pick- Hermes Lambre des Merveilles, Chanel Coco and Chanel Coco Noir, also Versace Crystal Noir. So many lovely ones to choose from so have fun sniffing them all and just pick one which you would like to smell on her!!
Eliesaab la couture is a nice light one xx |

You could do with finding out if she wears perfume and if so what.
I very rarely wear any as I gave a very good sense of smell and find many overpowering. I also dislike floral scents.
As others have said the same perfume will smell different on different people.
Unless you know her very well, to be honest you might be better buying her something else.

Thanks! Yes just to point out all the perfumes I posted in the first part of my post are my favs that I would only wear in the evening and are fairly strong, so beware on that!

"Perfume doesn't smell the same on everybody, so what smells nice on one person won't necessarily smell nice on someone else."
Exactly
These favourite perfume/ aftershave threads are pretty pointless
I know what suits me, and blends with my own personal aroma, but that could be completely different on someone else |

Why not just buy one of the sample kits with eight tiny perfumes in and then you get a voucher to go and select the one you prefer
I got one for Xmas which I thought was a lovely idea
From Boots
