....I've just seen this posted on a certain social media site. It's happened just round the corner from Quest in Leeds 10, thought it was worth posting so that people can be careful if they're in the area. Bex xxx
"Notice to all my F******k friends please share!! I have just driven back from the coast and came through Hunslet I went towards the traffic lights at the penny hill to turn left towards belle isle when a male was stood in the road I had to put my breaks on as I couldn't get past, he jumped on my car bonnet then came to the passenger door holding a knife and staring in my face, I managed to lock the doors in time as he went for the handle, I put my vehicle in reverse and ended up hitting the curb I turned my car around towards behinda street when I rang the police and reported the incident the police came immediately and arrested him and I identified him as the man, I have given a statement to the police, he was aged 40-45 about 5'8 wearing a light grey jumper dark jeans and a hat and was covered in blood, he has left blood on my vehicle which the police are taking as evidence, this has given me a wake up call drivers always keep your doors locked!!!" |

"3 door cars are better than 5 door cars.
Why are they called 3 and 5? Surely it should be 2 and 4? "
In the US they are called 2 and 4 door cars. It confused me when I first came here.
I'm easily confused. |

It'd be that if they hinged under the window. A hatchback doesn't. |

Boot counts as one.
A boot is a boot, not a door."
Perhaps you ought to write to your MP? |

Surely the boot is the space at the back of the car. What do you call the hinged closing of the boot then? A lid? A boot is kind of like a car cupboard, and cupboards have doors. |
