Going on from the smear test thread men of a certain age please get your prostrate checked going through it at the moment with my dad as he is having treatment x |

Funny, but this is a serious issue.
I had mine checked 2 weeks ago, and have to get further tests in the next few weeks.
Don't ignore this, or your testicles. |

From 40. Depends on family history though, may need screening sooner. |

I found myself having to get up more in the night last year (age 45) so got it checked. All was ok and peeing more at night is just an age thing, to quote the GP. Check was quick and painless really, for over 40's guys I'd recommend to all |

My dad was diagnosed 2years ago and the cancer was there but not growing. Has regular checks and screening last year found cancer in his kidney had kidney removed. Now the prostate has grown is having hormone therapy to try and shrink it before starting radiation therapy x |
