I was growing up in the 70s, just leaving the era where we still expected a man to come along and take care of us. 17 years married and I was doing all the caring!
Now teach my daughters to be independent and take care of themselves, can't work out whether that's a bit sad or not... |

Surely that should just be standard?
What kind of a parent wouldnt teach thier child to take care of themselves?

Little sad but it is the reality of day and nothing wrong with teaching them to stand on they own two feet |
