Because I ever so slightly can't face up to my mortality & in the interests of a balanced view…instead of hearing about people (or animals) that have sadly died…would someone please remind me of people that are still alive? 
Or is that just worse?

My theory is that all these cool talented people are people at all.
They are alien's, who are faking their deaths and returning to their mother ship.
As they know that an apocalyptic extinction level event is about to befall this planet.
