Fake verifications!!

We have received a fake veri off a single man! Maybe you think there's no problem with that but to us it is important. We don't want to meet single men but now, even though we haven't displayed the veri, it still states on our profile that we've met a 'man'. Our profile clearly states we don't meet them but now our potential meets will think we go against what we say in the profile.
Apparently they do it to try get one back to help them look good and get meets themselves.
Just hope admin can fix this.  |

Report it to admin and I'm sure they will remove it for you. |

Report it - had one recently like that. Out of nowhere from a couple I've never even looked at!

Maybe he thought that dreaming of meeting you is the same as meeting you .... Did he put details about you in the verification |

Ah. Pandora's box has creaked open finally.
I always wondered about some of the verifications on some profiles which had a stench of 'fakeness' about them.
Maybe people with multiple profiles, or many of the single men(and women)all get together with fake profiles of the opposite gender and veri the fuck out of each other?
Tellingly, many are photo and meet veried, but not many of them are site supporters.

Similar position but not from a fake one.
A single guy who we spoke with at a bar for a little while verified us. No problem with that, our other veris are social ones. It's just he put on it about not having time to play, worded in a way that it appears like play was on he cards. Play wasn't even talked about with him. He went off to play with another and so did we in a different room.
There was never going to be any play. 1. He's a guy and that's not what we are hear for. 2. Even if we were it wouldn't be him far a variety of reasons.
Now have a veri we don't want to display as it's misleading and a summary that doesn't match our displayed.
Tried reporting it but was honest in that we have met him and it remains, so it seems admin believe it appropriate. Fair enough.
I just wonder if others will be curious to what we are hiding? |

Wouldnt worry much about that, lots of people only display some veris. plus if some one counts your display, compares to your summary and then judges you I suspect you'd be happy they passed you by as thats a level of judgemental anal retentive that no one needs  |

I told them this a couple of hours ago in the feedback forum.
And it looks like they have men filtered out in their messages so they shouldn't be able to get in contact anymore. |

Its a shame that blocking that person doesn't remove it from the summary. It removes the actually veri but not from the summary which is a bit odd. |

I had one from a female and one from her couples account who I have had a lot of problems with in the past. I contacted admin whobdid remove the verification quick but it still stayed on my summary |

This is a large problem in Ireland - I would be interested to know how widespread it is across the site. |

Interesting. We had a male message us claiming to a couple, and demanding more pictures as 'proof' we were real, as our verifications were more than likely fake 
He also claimed to be part of the fab moderation team.
Anybody else experienced this? |

I was approached by one guy who was obviously using a fake avatar pic, he had two veris extolling his manly virtues, but when I looked at those they were both obviously fake profiles with one veri each - from him!!

I heard that too!!!
We had a veri left by a single man on our couple profile. He had message me on my own profile. I saw him in a club but didn't even speak to him & haven't verified him!! I will report to admin |

I was 'offered' the services of a fake verification on a previous profile..
id rather have none than a fake one so I just reported it and the profile was removed...
you can often spot the fake ones because mostly they are hugely complimentary but are rarely reciprocated  |
