I was very sad to hear of her passing.

I think the passing of people like Victoria Wood makes me think that society has become less egalitarian.

Victoria, Alan Rickman, David Bowie etc... all working class folks who had a talent that shone through. They were humble and had a conscience.

As 'stars' begin to die off it's a reminder that substance and talent matters less and less in life and that's as sad as their passing.
