Apparently retired via Twitter last night.... No one can confirm but been pulled from ufc 200....
I know he was ringside last week in Dublin when the poor kid died after an mma bout, I am betting that has made him evaluate what he wants to do....
So if he has gotten out rich before any major damage... Good on him! Wasn't the best fighter but put on a hell of a show....... |

came as a shock...if that was his thinking i would have done 200 and then called it quits in the middle of the ring... but if his head is really not in it then he has done the right thing! |

If it is true I think there is another reason for it! There was talk awhile back that he wanted to be bigger than Dana White and have his own version of mma like what Randy Cotour did! He is always thinking big and since rebok deal alot of fighters in ufc are taking a huge hit financially without sponsorship! So they just get paid to fight Diaz biggest money fight before mcrgegor was 20K that's only £15k approx! So about of fighters would jump ship immediately! Right now he is still the biggest money draw in the game is still at his peak so if he stated his own now is prob best time! I hope it's not true but if it is ID say Watch This Space!! |
