... in the North East that acutually knows about performance Jap imports?

Every time I go over a bum I can hear this knocking from the front passenger side. Each garage I take it to replaces more and more parts but the banging is still there...

Depends what car it is, i know my son works at a garage, the part they are waiting for is coming from Germany, car has been sat in the garage for months now. They also have to send cars to the manufacturer to be sorted so you might have to do that

Hmmm. New Bushes everywhere. New drop links, anti-roll bar, lower wishbones and ball joints. Oh and new coilovers.

Isn't there a [insert name and model of car]import owner's club?

They can usually share info about garages, parts availability and so on.

Start with the basics and have a garage check that everything is secure in the engine bay. It shouldn't take too long, .5 labour at the most, if you only get the noise when going over bumps then something is loose. Oh...and avoid kwik fit and such like for anything mechanical!

skylines have alot of panel flex even from new, what model is it? it could be a bodywork issue rather than something underneath.

but very hard to say without hearing it.

sandwell

I know this might sound a little daft but has happened to me.

Check to make sure that you have nothing heavy in the boot, glove box or under the seat that is rolling around

Sound can travel in a car and it might not be the front passenger side after all
