I need to get a door asap.. Just to ask.. Approx How heavy is a nissan micra driver's door with glass, and all other fittings? I need a new door and can get one out the salvage yard but need to lug it a few hundred feet to the car .. Same colour .. Short of time to get sorted so any thoughts appreciated. Plus .. With a replacement door .. What odds will the shut lines be ok?

Btw.. Window is shut on donor car.. It has no battery so can't open window to make it easier to carry.

Light enough to be carried around Thorpe Park all day.

on the road to nowhere in particular

The weight shouldn't be a problem, the bulk will make it awkward

I'm sure it may be obvious... but can you drive your car nearer to the donor car?!

Surely the door with glass isn't too strenuous to drag?

Get a couple of webbing tie - downs with cam buckles.

Wrap round door.

Now use webbing to hold onto in a comfy and easy grip.
