My son has been prescribed this for ADHD.
Has anyone had dealings with it, found it useful or not?
He's not taken any yet as the Dr has asked for a blood test and ecg first

My son was prescribed it years ago, it calmed him down but made him very tearful and depressed.in many ways we felt it changed who he was and not in a good way. We stopped giving it him after a few weeks, he is now using melatonin to help him relax and sleep which works very well without the side effects. Don't forget it is a controlled substance so i would recommend reading the side effects leaflet and talking to his peadiatrian if you are concerned. |
