Hiya Everyone,

You're all probably sick of my asking for travel advice, but I can't help myself. I have a friend coming to Surrey and we need to show him around for a day or two. I know London is a possibility, but other than traveling there, can anyone recommend some stuff for us to show him in the region?

Thanks for the help. All types of stuff is appreciated but more town/historical than walking/activity focused would be best.

-Courtney

Leigh Hill and Box Hill are good for walking, though the former is less busy and the views equally lovely..

there are plenty of other good walks too..

...Up on the Downs

Churchills home Chartwell and Leeds castle in Kent, both glorious places to walk and picnic.

South West London / Surrey

Hever Castle....

It's lovely there and they put on theme days occasionally too.

They had a jousting show when we last went.
