Check out BBC news app for the article, but a small cluster of cases in straight couples in Leeds looks like it has spread to other parts of the country.

Seems that this STI has become resistant to one of the main antibiotics used to treat it.

As symptoms are rarely seen in up to two thirds of women and 1 in 10 men, might be time if we all went to get a check up.

It's best to spread this news than the clap, eh?

Thanks to doctors dishing out antibiotics like sweeties no doubt.. Same trouble with farmers in other countries feeding it to livestock..

Thread title is alarmingly misleading.

Its not even remotly close to becoming untreatable some strains are now more resitant to specific antibiotics there are others that are useful.

Its like saying rats are now unkillable because most these days in the uk are fairly resitant to warfarin
