What the f*** are they thinking? There are much better vocalists, if all the rest are tied up find someone new.
If AC/DC are going to dredge that far below the bottom of the barel, and use Rose, they definitly should call it a day. |

"They should have called it a day 15 years ago as should the Stones
60 and 70 year olds trying to be 30 is not attractive "
I agree but, if Led Zeppelin decided to give it one more go, I'd be there right down the front |

They aren't trying to be attractive. "
Not attractive and working with both bands not at all value for money |

"Good choice. Shame, he's a bit of a cunt.
There are quotes from Slash, Eddie Van Halen and others saying that all lead singers are cunts"
Well slash would know.. |

"I Think they should call it a day, your thoughts?" been a fan all my life, yes knock it on the head ffs. Not sure if Axle Rose will be any good, don't care either way. They even had some drummer from abertillery play for them on their uk tours. Well past it now, it's been a money machine for too long anyway!

Well there are still a lot of people going to see them all.
I don't think age matters as long as they put on a good performance.
I do agree though that if half the original members of any band are deceased, then the others should stop using the name. |

Not always. I saw Queen with Paul Rodgers and they were far from dreadful, but were they Queen without Freddie? I didn't think so. And likewise with the Who.
Eric Clapton is over seventy, but he can still play pretty well, so why shouldn't he.
Don't be ageist. |

What a travesty...think it's time to call it a day now.I'm so glad I didn't get tickets to go see them this time around.I've only got great memories from previous gigs...at least they will stay intact.
Call it a day guys...you don't need the money...your already minted. |

Don't be ageist. " Totally different genre. There is something suspicious about a 62 year old man dressed (badly) as a school boy missing Q's trying to do the same stuff as when he was 25 and playing the wrong chords as those who saw them recently will attest. Clapton is a static artist and has mastered his craft with no gimmicks.
There is a time to say its not for us and we are taking lots of money of starry eyed punters under false prentices. Sam with the Stones except they are slightly older! |

Havig seen ACDC on every tour since 1988 .. Johnsons voice has been in decline for a while now and there was very liitle interaction or stage craft from him on last few tiurs especially ... whilst Rose is not everyone s cuppa i think he will do fine ... Angus has appeared on stage with GnR this year doing Whole Lotta Rosie ... check it on you tube .. then comment ,??? |

Mmm. When you put it like that I can't disagree. I didn't realise they were that bad.
I still like the Stones though. |

Blimey. It might actually work. He's not a million miles away from Bon sound wise is he?
Only thing is he's not one of the boys, or ever will be.

AC/DC were the first band I ever saw at the Queen's Hall in Derby in 1977. Bon Scott will never be forgotten and Brian Johnson can never be replaced
Back In Black is my ringtone
I've seen Guns N' Roses a couple of times, but think Axl might do a good job of it actually
If not, Angus will kick him in the nuts |

"Could Axl pull this off though?
Touch Too Much - AC/DC
www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGftIcp2SC0"
Not a chance. Not that it matters to me because there is no way I want to hear that person wreck one of my all time favorite AC/DC tracks.
Even Brian couldnt get that one right. |
