Before we joined fab , nastier of us even knew gum clinics existed . Like so many others out there we wouldn't have entertained visiting one just in case .....
Since we started swinging we both visit our clinic every six to eight weeks , have had the hep jabs , and get the full checks including throat swabs eight times a year .
We have been very lucky thus far , no stds , but we are very well educated .
So the new stds are more likely to be untreatable in those who don't know they have them I would suggest .
From our experience , those in the swinging scene are way more careful and aware than those outside it . |

I have read up on this previously. I can't link it but here's a snippet from one of the websites I did some research on.
In the UK, a blog in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) comments that the prevalence of drug-resistant gonorrhoea is also in decline in the UK, and that new drugs are in the pipeline to treat it.
However, both the CDC and the BMJ remind readers that the gonorrhoea organism has ended up developing resistance to every class of antibiotic used against it. “The potential that gonorrhoea could become untreatable remains real,” the CDC comments, urging both new treatment options and improved prevention efforts.
According to both US and UK disease control,the cases of drug resistant gonorrhea have fallen. |

The thing is that no disease is inherently untreatable. Go find an amazon tribe and most of them will die from a common cold because they don't have the antibodies.
When you catch something then you speed up the process to finding a cure, it's a social good really, so who wants to take a bus to Leeds? |
