Big gates, cameras and an alarm that goes directly to the police? Oh, and a nasty bugger answering the door. Nah! Let em knock, they'd be better off ringing the bell though... Or running away!. |

The last time that happened (we'll ok, it was 3.30 but we won't split hairs about the time) it was the pollis telling me that they'd found my van at North Blyth and did I know it had been pinched .... |

Yes - we've had it happen a couple of times - police after the teen who lived in this house before us and once police returning something of ours which had been stolen (f***ing antisocial time to return a motorbike!!)
We have a full length window next to our front door, so I'd look out of that if there wasn't anything obvious like a police car on the drive |

yes
the last time it happened a joy rider had crashed into our car and had we not gone we would of missed watching a local guy dragging the not so joyfull rider back by the scruff of his neck into the hands of the police |

Yes I would.
It is usually a breakdown looking for the nearest garage, or someone d*unk who has crashed through our hedge - again !
We also get the police around quite often . . . due to having a penitentiary institution quite close by.
Life is at its most interesting at around 5am . . . . . . .
