By the seaside

Suffering from the most delightful head cold at the moment which is making me feel yucky, drained and probably a little moody.

At times like this only chicken soup will do to make me feel better. It is what mummy Rose used to give me when I was a child so guess it's the ultimate comfort food for me.

So my question to you, fellow fabsters, is what do you do to make you feel better when a little under the weather?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

We had chicken noodle soup from a packet. It was salty bliss.

Now I just go to bed.

I'll read or watch or listen to something that makes me happy. If I'm stressing out, I'll go for a walk as well. I don't really dwell on things, luckily, so I don't have to comfort myself often.

Make myself a boozy hot toddy and curl up on the sofa and watch kinky boots

I get out into nature and connect with it. I think it's something in our DNA and good for us.

"Lucozade"

Yes to Lucozade, but it was 100 times more effective when the bottle was wrapped in the coloured cellophane, when unwrapping and looking at the world in sunny, orange/yellow colours made you feel so much better too.

Tomato soup does it for me, as does irnbru.

I also have a headcold and have spent the last week drinking hot honey, lemon and ginger drinks.
