You don't get,
Do you agree ?
Have you always been one of those people who have asked for things ?
Discount in stores, A pay rise or over time in work, Up grades on plane or in hotels, Pics or meets on here etc etc
When I was younger I used to hate it when my dad would ask for discount and I would walk way with embarrassment when he did, But as I have got older it doesn't bother me anymore and I usually ask for anything even though mates say I'm cheeky/taking the piss for asking

"Sometimes. I've got better as I've aged but I grew up being punished for asking for things.
I will send food back at a restaurant if it's not right. The kids hate me when I do it.
"
Yes, That's something I would never of done 10-20 years ago |

I'm more comfortable asking for stuff, in the context of things though. Like a pay rise when I've succeeded in my role, or asking for a new meal of its genuinely shit, or a girl out on a date etc. On the same standard, I don't mind someone asking for something from me - just doesn't mean I say yes |

It's perfectly appropriate to communicate respectfully and to let others know what your interests are. You're easier to negotiate with than someone who remains silent.
I hold the belief that businesses want to gain revenue from me and that I can potentially secure a deal - so I pursue options.
Preserving your own energy also involves you being deficient. This can mean knowing when to shut up - when you've already clinched your deal or when to Walk away - they are unwilling to satisfy you etc.
The more I've lived the more I've realized how much people like some novelty in their lives. Add some fun and warmth, if nothing else. |

"mates say I'm cheeky/taking the piss for asking
As someone who works in the food service industry, I categorically bloody agree! "
And your reason for that is ? |

You perhaps couldn't understand, but I'm use to dealing with a particular group species who haven't quite got the grasp of real life economics..commonly known as students |
