Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
It's been a little theme this month that all the best people are born in April.
I have always noticed a spike in birthday threads in March and April, spring babies. April did have some old favourites like Wishy, Eurotongue and Bussy.
So give us your pitch for the best month for swingers to be born.

March.
St Patricks day revelry and general goodwill. (Also happens to be my birthday)
Nuff said. |

"April is the best month. I got home tonight to the best card... 'Another 365 days since you fell out of a vagina - hooray'
Is it today? Is there a thread?
"
No... the card was early... she didn't want to miss it cause I'm away next week bless her. |

"This month, all three of my son in laws, my dad would have been 95 yesterday, my ex husband, my brother in law and my other half.
But the best month is September...For obvious reasons. "
That's a lot of April men.
I know at least one person for every day in April. Thrice, in two different organisations, I have ended up working with people who share my birthday. At one place there was four us.

I try not to use the words best or better as they are always degrading to others xxx

You know if we were to make twelve birthday threads with each month, we could all post in the month we were born and then you'd never have to make your own birthday thread. Then we'd see which month is the busiest! |

Would we have to look for it when it fell off the bottom of the page or would you guarantee it to be on show at all times? |

That's very sweet of you.
My headteacher at primary used to start each assembly with "Good, better, best. Never let it rest until your good is better and your better is best." I suppose it has influenced my thinking.

"March is the best month, definitely!
I only just escaped being an April fool baby.
Are you sure they didn't just turn the hands of the clock back?
I do sometimes wonder. "
A friend's mother confessed, almost on her deathbed, that they had changed the time of his birth to avoid him being an April Fool baby. |

I did hear a thing on R4 years ago explaining the probability is quite high once you go above some really quite low number of people in a room. |

September because you can be the first of your mates at school to get served in a pub.
Plus you have an academic advantage over the other kids as you're developmentally that much older than them so the work is easier. September babies take their GCSEs after almost a whole year of learning more than some kids. It's not really fair.
(I was born at the other end of the academic year though. ) |

I think it's more about when you're conceived. Fervent doggers could get it any night of the year but I'm thinking doggers out there in summer are the more typical outdoors shaggers. So kids born 9 months later, eg July to May births. |

I started a whole thread because of you. I'm out celebrating on your birthday through to my birthday. |

My eldest is very end of August & youngest beginning of September. Never made allowances & eldest getting better grades than most of his Autumn born friends. Youngest is a sponge & absorbs facts & figures |

Being the eldest in their school year, many people think those with September Birthdays are best, but actually this pressure of expectation often leads to harsh judgement, followed by disillusionment, meaning those born in October actually end up being the best.
Statistical fact, sorry.
In fact, they're so good, I bet some of you even believed that.....

Ahhh, the true answer, yes.
That those with an October birthday are so good that they even let those with November birthdays believe the latter are better, just for a quiet life....?

The majority of babies are born in September, 9 months after winter solstice and the religious holidays. Christmas is either make up or break up sex.
In recent years, there is also correlation between big sporting events and Big Brother/BGT/xfactor finals.
Trust me, I was a Midwife. |

I do trust you and it make sense. The blackouts in the 70s led to a baby boom.
