"For me it's Sgt Peppers, an Otis compilation LP and, erm, True Blue by Madonna."
I had the True Blue album cover as a quilt cover I was Madonna mad
My dad was a DJ so too much choice there but my stepdad always played Bruce Springsteen, My mum Carly Simon, Barbra Streisand or Elkie Brooke's.
My step mum is younger & I remember buying her Bon Jovi Slippert When Wet on cassette - it was the 1st gift I ever bought with my own money (bingo winnings!!) I have the cassette now as couldn't let her throw it away |
