how would you know who they were?

last year arranged to meet for coffee at supermarket close to m5,i pulled up alongside her car in half empty car park as she was just geting out,i shouted a "hi" to her and we went for that cofee and a chat,she soon finished he coffee and suggested we go on to my place.
spent a very memorable day with that blind date and have seen her a few times since. |

We did ones,met a couple for a drink and a meal,very glad we did,as we had a lovely time chatting and getting to know them,then back to the caravan for some very hot fun,it turned out to be one of our best meets. |

Yes, a couple of times and both times been pleasantly surprised.
Met an "attractive" couple after seeing their pics and wanted to do a runner when they came into the pub

We have met a couple off here and no face pics were sent either way! It was the funniest thing walking into a crowded pub and trying to suss out which couple we were supposed to be meeting!!!
It could have got very embarrassing but hubby phoned their mobile and we spotted them when the guy went to answer - phew! |

Yes i have from another site though.
Yes people have met me without seeing me.
Yes i've met people after seeing their pic and exercised all the social graces I can to drink slowly, make conversation THEN leave. Last week being a MASSIVE case in point. ( help me mummy i still have nightmares )
I never send pics. I prefer to cam. I never meet without first speaking on the phone. Means more to me than pics.
I always meet socially for the first time in any case and if I got on with the person on the phone and we agreed a social I don't need the pic.... as long as it's understood sex is not an option ...... unlessssssssssss.....sometimes just going with the flow is more exciting than all the prep in the world.
To be fair it's different every time a meet is made. That's how life is.. |

That is so true! We have met people who look so so different to their face pics. Some have been lovely surprises, but others a totally different story

I have met the wrong person off here a few weeks ago. Lol that will teach me to have a few glasses of merlot and get the names mixed up. Got in his car and thought wtf your the guy i have been avoiding for the past two years. So being a polite pussy that I am, I carried on with the meet.
Actually he turned out to be great and it was a lovely night. Suppose you shouldnt judge a book by its cover, or have a few scoops of red wine before going on fab. |

i have, we had spoken for a while tho so i knew we got on, didnt have a clue what they looked like, but it never bothers me what a persn looks like anyways so i wasnt worried or bothered as we got on personality wise xxxxxx |

awww how lovely would like to think i could be the same but have to be honest i have found myself to be a wee bit shallow from time to time
did similar got chatting found i really liked what i read but when i saw web cam found he was not my cuppa looks wise at all so made my excuses
although that said have met guys at a club not found them attractive to look at but after time in their company found them attractive in many other ways |

thats why looks dont interest me, you could meet the best looking person in the world but they could be so up their own arse and un-intersting with nothing to say, no sense of humour, then, you could meet someone that looks wise may be not for you but their personality shines so brightly that it outshines everything.xxx i prefer like minds to ''good'' looks, what are ''good'' looks anyways lol |

Have done, wouldnt necessarily do it again, even having pictures doesnt always ring true. One guy has a picture that portrays him as tall, well dressed, all the things you want except it would have been better if i was 5ft tall not 5ft 7in as i do prefer to look eye level if not up to |
