Hi all,
Just wondering why somebody would reply, give more details about themselves, seem interested in chatting further, send a picture...and then when you goto reply, you find you are blocked!
Tad confused.

"Or you send a perfectly polite and decent sized message and they don't have the manners to even reply, just delete your message.
Manners cost nothing !
"
Why is it good manners to reject you in writing, didn't the deletion of your mail tell you everything you needed to know ? |

Might as well just delete all your sent mail as soon as you've sent it, then there's no angst over what the recipient has done with it, you'll either get a reply or you won't, its life on here. |

Or someone joins a site and doesn't even bother to familiarise themselves with the policies and FAQ's |

But they do, if your time is valued at £60 an hour and you choose to spend 1 second pressing delete or 5 minutes writing a polite no thanks they have cost £5 |

Dear Sir,
I refer you to my recent message within which I stated that I was available for a good fucking this afternoon at your flat.
I regret to inform you that I will not be able to keep our appointment for just as I was about to slip on my shoes and out of the door I recieved a phone call from my daughters school. She has had an extremely bad fall and is , as we speak , en route to hospital.
I know I should be at her side but I simply couldn't leave this house without first affirming my certificate in 'good manners' and not letting you down or giving you a good reason for the no show.
Please understand that I am only blocking you as I don't feel I deserve you and don't want to become a nuisance with the rampant and insessant begging that would ensue on my part.
Once again forgive me. Yours.......... manners maketh the fucker. xx |

Ah but its not just the no thanks, then ensues the why, what's your type, you're a fat slag anyway type responses! Some people reply with a no thanks, others don't but it doesn't change the outcome, you're not going to meet them either way. |

I had a situation recently where a couple asked for photos, commented they liked the photos and suggested a social. They then said I was not for them.
I suspect either I) they had gone back to my profile and seen something they didn't like or ii) only one half of the couple were responsible for the initial replies. Either way all you can do is move on and forget about it.

Sadly in Fab world, manners do cost something. Time, and sometimes lots of it.
It bothers me that we don't reply to all of our messeges so this afternoon while bored at work I responded to every unanswered message in our inbox.
The oldest were about 2 weeks old.
Took me 2 hours.
And my reward? Some lovely thank you messeges which was cool and a load of "why not" messeges which make me wish I hadn't responded in the first place.
It's a dilemma and you can't win.
