Well I remember chucking on a Global Hypercolour T-shirt, shoving a load of Vics around my nose and generally going mental in quite a few large spaces. Likewise trawling around in a car up and down the a19 for hours beforehand, but it was still magical..... |

Bump, grind, kungfu dancing, rock and roll, pogo, thrashing, northern soul, twisting, Céilidh ....with age comes dance knowledge although some I'd prefer to forget. |

"How you used to dance to the music of your youth ?
I have just been listening to "dave and ansell collins" singing "i am the magnificent"
And remembered with glee the dancing we did to that and similar music.
It was called the "grind"
Best ever grind was at the "holt" re aston villa social club.
With a gorgeous tall black guy.
And i tell you...we rocked the place.
oOOOOOooooo to do that again
Any gorgeous black guys know how to grind ? "
There's still places out there that you can go find the right music to grind to. Big scene up north. You got natural rhythm then? |

Hahaha, I'm with you on this one, Mr Lick. Listening to tracks like Sweet Harmony by Liquid or Playing With Knives by Bizarre Inc. or anything by 808 State or Altern-8 or the Prodigy.
