Some foods just go together. we all know about carrot/coriander or lemon/meringue for instance.
Do you want to share any less obvious matches?
One for me is xmas cake and cheddar, can almost taste it now yuummmmy |

Similar to this and a dangerous combination, because it's just too yummy and addictive, is a sandwich or toast spread with homemade banana jam, made with a little lime juice and homemade peanut butter, made with a little maple syrup and sea salt. Each was too delicious alone, but the combination was just too tasty to describe! I had to stop making it, the jars were just emptied in days!

Strawberries and balsamic vinegar
Coffee in chilli
Sea salt in chocolate
WensleyDale cheese and apple sandwiches (white bread, plenty of butter)

Anybody fancy take me out for ice-cream and fries?
