Morphine itch!

I had my hysterectomy yesterday, I'm managing quite well so far but the morphine is making me constantly itch and Piriton hasn't helped. Any advice please?!

Have you tried first gen antihistamines? Diphenhydromine is my goto for pruritus.

It's quite common,you're allergic to it.ring the 101 number for advice,you probably need a different pain med x I take morphine and if you want to pm me about it feel free x
