Just wondering how many people actually prefer normal chats before just jumping into sex chats and more personally I think I'd rather get to know somebody first opinions welcome  |

We don't have sex chats, we found early on that you talk too much about what you may get up to on a meet, they knock one out and you don't hear from them until they want to knock one out again. |

Normally seems to start off fairly risqué for me - normally because the chats spawn from a rude pic, status or forum thread. Plus I'm a filthy-minded bugger and I can't help it  |

Generally normal chats, with a bit of flirting which I don't generally pic up on lol. If they go in with a sex chat then in my experience they're just trying to get off |

I like to mix it up. Normal everyday chit chat with the odd bit of naughtiness thrown in. You learn much more about a person from talking with them on a wide range of subjects. Just sex talk can get boring very quick. |

I've found that the more people want to talk about sex ie what they want to do to me etc - and the more pictures, videos etc get sent/requested - the less likely they are to meet!
I find it's the wannabe swingers who like to 'talk dirty ' constantly - the ones who actually meet tend to have normal conversations to help them decide if they actually 'click ' with the other person enough to want to meet them! Xx |

i'm enforcing boundaries.
i actually find it uncomfortable for guys to get ahead of themselves and become sexual too early on in the chat. |

As above I agree but also if the chat flows then I think the sex would eventually too if it doesn't or someone's after one thing it's a bit like well that was a waste |

I always go for normal chats.
Though I appreciate it's a site we are on which will ultimately lead to sex, we are still people at the end of the day and should be treated with a little dignity and respect. A normal chat goes a long way in my opinion |

Exactly, this is a real bugbear of mine with older guys particularly, where the physical attraction may not be quite so obvious for me, I need to get to know them a little before I decide if I am attracted or not, and if they get smutty with me before I have made that decision, it is SUCH a turn off.  |

I try chatting normally whilst dropping some (seemingly lost) innuendo in...and get accused of being a timewaster.
So I try dropping in some obvious innuendo in the next conversation and notice the message is "Read, deleted" with no reply.
I definitely need to brush up on my technique... |

I enjoy the normal chats. Swinging is (when I have the time) only a part of my life, as I'm sure it is for a lot of people here. In my experience, Fab seems to attract people over 30, thus they often have families, jobs and other commitments.
I think that you get a better quality meet when you take the trouble to get to know someone else.

I find sex chat a turn off and usually something that people really don't life up to in reality (all talk no action).
I like to talk about cake but any normal conversation topic is good as well. |
