Howard Marks has died...Going to be some smokes lit in his memory tonight. Think I'll have to dig the film out and watch it again.

The book has flashes of insight but largely devolves in to another bigger deal to another bigger deal to yet another bigger deal... it's a bit tedious until the Feds get their hooks into him.

Considering he got 25yrs in maximum, he was very lucky to get out after 7 for good behaviour.
