The profile.
As long as the first message isn't offensive and appears not to be written by a baffoon it's the profile that will determine whether i reply or not. If there's nothing attractive to me there's no point communicating. |

A face pic is what I like. My top priority is facial attraction.
If facial attraction exists:
Messages that reference my profile or make me laugh are my faves.
Any variant on "hi" "hey" "how are you" etc gets an immediate no thanks. |

I look at the profile before I open the message and if I don't like it then whatever the message said is largely immaterial........if I like the profile then even if the message said 'hi' I would probably respond  |
