I just googled it lol ......Metrosexual is a neologism derived from metropolitan and heterosexual coined in 1994 describing a man (especially one living in a post-industrial, capitalist culture) who displays behavior stereotypically associated with homosexual men (such as a strong concern for his appearance), although he is not homosexual. Debate surrounds the term's use as a theoretical signifier of sex deconstruction and its associations with consumerism |

I am kind of a bit! I'm not Ronaldo preened, but I do like to dress well and groom, kind of make an effort.
Apparently it was an advertising invention in order to be able to sell products to men. The articles that came out promoting the idea were planted in various publications and it kind of snowballed. |

Lol I might fall into that category. Didn't know there was as such a name for it. I thought it was just keeping yourself clean, tidy and hygienic. I used to get a full body wax, but I have stopped that and now I just get my back, sac& crack waxed I get my eyebrows tidied up by threading. A haircut every fortnight. Armpits shaved. And the occasional facial. I manicure myself but get it done professionally occasionally. So if all that makes me metrosexual then I guess I am haha |

Nah, have to put myself in the non-metrosexual group on this one.
Care about my looks to a certain extent, but I'm not into spending more time in the bathroom getting ready than the lady I am going out with.
