I've come to realise, some women are just crap/incapable at text conversations.
Some seem to only be able to communicate over telephone convo or in person.
So how do you overcome that on a site like this, when the only impression you can make is over text?
this just got me thinking, as I'm having woman issues with an old friend  lol |

it's not having other things to do..
and yes i agree, it is easier to pick up the phone....but does that mean you'll give your phone number to every guy here just to squeeze 3 hr text convo down to 5minutes of interrogation of worthiness, lol |

if prioritise who i'm chatting to. the more interested i am in someone the more effort i'll make with them, unless they're trying to sex chat me then i won't bother. |

Texting can be long and drawn out...a conversation that can take place in spoken minutes can last hours by text...Some of us have better things to do with our time like work, raise kids etc. 24 hour access to a person isn't a good thing.
Also texts can be misconstrued/taken the wrong way and the sender can get frustrated if the person doesn't respond straight away...which I guess is your point.
The art of conversation is dying...Damn shame if you ask me |

There's nothing more off putting than someone moaning about lack of texts or replies. If I had a £1 for every person who asks me to kik or WhatsApp. I'm not interested in textual intercourse |

Do you mean texts on a phone or messages on here? I know for many it's the same as they use the site from their phone.
I really can't be bothered with long text messages but the occasional flirty back and forth is fine.
I have long message exchanges on here though.

Sorry OP I didn't mean you. I was referring to men who message me and within first few messages they're asking me to WhatsApp or Kik. I'm here to meet people not message people all night  |

I'm the opposite. I make calls for work purposes but I don't speak on the phone to people if I can help it. I like texts cause I'm usually doing ten other things at the same time. When it's a conversation, you should be giving that person 100% of your attention and I just can't be arsed with that. |
