Jump to: Newest in thread
I have a craving for some kind of sweet pie this morning for breakfast (pumpkin or lemon meringue, probably...), but can't get to anywhere until they open later... *pout*
What are some of your favourite puddin's?

My old mums bread pudding. I've tried to replicate it but just cannot get it the same. As a kiddie I use to help her make it and can still remember the taste. |

"Fresh fruit salad,Greek yoghurt with honey and cinnamon
Yes!! Grapes and Greek yogurt is one of my fave combos. "
I'm not really a baked dessert person,I find them too sweet or rich. I quite like my trifle though. |

100% cheeseboard. Don't get eating sugary sweet things after a meal. At most some sorbet. Usually cheese and some port or whiskey.
I sound like someone from the 1940s |

I had to google what a Manchester tart is, and it looks yummy! "
I've had a few in my time and I love them as they bring back some proper childhood memories |

Creme brulee, cheesecake, brownies, red velvet cake, chocolate fudge cake, sticky toffee pudding, turkish delight. I could go on! |

"I haven't eaten a dessert since 2009.
Why?
Through choice?
x "
Yeah. Just woke up one day and thought I don't like them. It's the same with chocolate.
Unfortunately/ fortunately, I've substituted these for pork pie!

When eating out I tend to have a Calypso coffee rather than a dessert.
At home it's usually either M&S pannacota or homemade apple crumble with bramleys and no sugar...I prefer my puddings to be on the tart side. |

Nah not into pastry so much, like desserts with a biscuity base, like the 3 mentioned above. |

"Fresh stawberries, a dollop of *good* vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of melted dark chocolate "
That sounds bloody lovely. Strawberries with the ends dipped in chocolate then put in the fridge is another favourite or Eton Mess. |

"I love Manchester tart, but do you think I can get one in Portsmouth? Nope, not anywhere here... "
That's a damn shame. In truth though,I moved 25 miles north of Manchester years ago and still only get a decent one when I go back to visit family |
