I've had a pair of balls for as long as I can remember, but I've never really noticed which one is the low one, lol.
So after a bit of self examination I can declare that my left testicle hangs a bit lower than my right one
Is it the same for all blokes though?
Have to admit, I've never held another blokes knackers, so I can only go by what's hanging from my torso
I asked Kate, if blokes were build differently or all the same, and she just laughed and said "can't say I've ever noticed"
So, I'm starting a poll......
Which one is your low one? |

Cos they'd bang together if they were side by side - like clackers and we all know what nasty injuries they gave us. Some scientist say that because each teste has its own separate blood supply it therefore works at a different temperature so that sperm can mature at different times thus increasing likelihood of fertilisation. |

I know why they hang at different levels, what I want to know is it always the left one that's low? |

Yes it is the left.
Its in the drainage of the venous blood. In the left side the spermatic (testicular) veins drains into the left renal veins which is a smaller vein than the inferior vena cava which the right spermatic veins drains into. This difference in the speed of venous blood drainage produce this difference in height of the two testes.

It isn't always the left one that hangs low - some say it depends on whther or not you are right or left handed. Something to do with brain symmetry.

My right gonad swells in size if I haven't unloaded for a day or two. It also gets very painful. The left one just seems to be there to make up the set! |
