I regularly watch a few of the old TOTP's on Sky, especially the 80's, I remember watching some of them back in the day, plus the fashion brings back so many memories of shoulder pads and big hair |

I remember the first time in realised they didn't perform live. Can't remember who it was, may have been Jonny Hates Jazz, but they were so out of sync and I was so disappointed. Then Nirvana came along and took the piss and made it all better. |

I remember well; The Stranglers kicking the door down outside the dressing room of the group "Child" and getting banned
wasn't long before TOTP had them back though and it was refreshing to see the stranglers on the show

I remember the first time Soft Cell played. I fell in love at first sight with Marc Almond, in black with studded wristbands and eyeliner. I've always liked effeminate looking men.
I am going to see Marc Almond live later this year, have been a fan ever since that first 1981 appearance.
Incidentally a few years before that I also loved Sparks, Soft Cell were very similar |

The irony of people thinking Michael Jackson invented the moonwalk years later |

Sadly, I was born too late to appreciate the artistry of Pan's People
I do remember Oasis's performance of Roll With It where Noel mimed to Liam's vocal, with Liam on guitar. Don't know what that was about or even why I remember it. Good times though... |

It will be before all of you remember as I was at school I suppose I was 14/15 There had been an art competition and a friends brother had won it. He painted a huge mural of The Beatles and they were to be on the show. He asked me to accompany him to the show my Mum wouldnt let me travel to London How amazing would that have been.

"I remember the scary guy with the moustache from The Sparks but it might have been a re run. "
I saw that clip on BBC4 last week. He's playing keys with his mad Hitler 'tache and a white jacket. That guy's mental. |

"Zoe doing 'sunshine on a rainy day' song was good but the way she was dressed suddenly made me realise what lust was "
The way she danced really put me off wanting to get her anywhere near the sack. |

"Billy Bragg during the miners strike"
"I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of 'Hope and Glory'
Mine is the green field and the factory floor"
