Dad was in the Armed Forces so moved a few times..

only moved twice as an adult though and was just a few miles away

Yes. Mr lived in Bristol for a time too and loved it. There's some good shopping and bars there now. Cabot circus is great.

Yep, from London to the North West over 20 years ago. It was a huge leap and initially felt like I'd moved to Royston Vasey...I cried every night for about a month.

I've moved a couple of times, both within the country and different countries. And I've been fortunate enough to travel all over the world and see different cultures with work

What surprised me the most was how different Ireland and the U.K. are. Two cultures that are similar, but the similarities make the differences accentuated.

I love bristol, was there for uni. Enjoy, if you make the move

Yes from Norwich I moved to Australia for 3 years before moving to stoke then Newcastle and north east for 12 years before moving back to Norfolk last year. Think we'll settle down now.
