people on each others hot list

Does anybody else think that if you added each other to your hot list that it would be a great idea if it showed. I don't know how but maybe by a notification or something simple like a different coloured tick

Nah I quite like people not knowing, they can usually suss you out anyway by how quick you fab their pics or if you comment on a status update.......I try to bide my time now but doesn't always work  |

I have an idea. How about you message the people on your hotlist and find out of they like you 
Being serious, there are sometimes threads where people reveal their hotlist. And you could always put up a status asking. We did it for a forum thread once and it was very illuminating.  |

They have this feature on another site we're on. It sends you both a notification email telling you maybe it's time to introduce yourselves.
Can't say we liked it...it actually stopped us adding people to favourites.
Sometimes we just like their pics and save them for ideas. Sometimes we just like their ranty & drama updates. Sometimes we put them there to contact at a later date.
We like people not knowing.

As I use my hotlist for a variety of things, including keeping an eye on loopy tunes people I try to avoid, I wouldn't want it broadcast that I hotlisted anyone. If I want them to know I've got my eye on them in more likely to wink or message.
Furthermore, until I found stealth mode, even looking at a profile would often be taken as an indication of my knickers flying off in eagerness to shag the profile owner.
That and the aforementioned drama potential.
In summary; it's a no from me. |

No thanks not for us. We have a mixture of would like to meet bit would want more experience before we contact them, nice pictures but miles away, a profile I find interesting and want to reminder it to show Michael & party/club profiles.
Wouldn't like to think people got the wrong message when we are using basically as a bookmark |

It could be an optional display thing - I quite like it on the dating site when you casually click 'like' on a profile and all the sirens go off because they indicated they liked you already lol!! |

Because people can use their hotlist however they want, as the post I quoted originally stated. For example, why would I message someone to tell them they're on my hotlist because they play bareback, so I avoid anyone they've met? Just because they're on my hotlist doesn't mean they're 'hot'! |

I sometimes have people on my hotlist who are new and I watch and see how things progress, the number of people who beetle off within a few days after freaking out is significantly large, especially as I'm looking for ladies. |
