So a female has won Bear Grylls Mission Survive. I could have told you even before it started that a female would win it. There's no point males entering any kind of show like this at the moment because current TV policy is obviously to let a female win no matter what. |

There you are, OP. This is the same gripe as when you felt that a woman winning the SAS programme was wrong.
Different show, same gripe. Perhaps stop watching and save yourself the anguish?

I hesitate to post.
Its a TV programme, did she win through popularity? Or did Bear decide?
If she won, she won, hats off, perhaps all the men weren't up to much.

Damned with faint praise . She might have won because she was the best not because the men were rubbish. |

How is this even a thing? People win because other people are rubbish, male or female, or in-between. But please you have decided my comment is sexist, I assumed (probably incorrectly) that she was the only woman in the contest, thus my comment "men not up too much, implies the other contestants...... sheesh).
You usually win something because you are better than the other contestants and they aren't up to much.....

It's possible to win by being better than the others, opposed to being less bad than them!!
There were plenty of women. The two at the end stood out throughout. The bloke who got to the final did well too. |

Personally done a survival course very similar to bear grylls show about ten years ago. The men were fucking wusses all the did was bitch and moan about how hard it was I just got on with it so if the show in any way resembled my personal experience I'm not at all shocked a woman won |

Women competing on a level playing field with men and winning. Must be a fix!
I didn't see the series the OP mentioned but I have no problem believing a woman won it fairly.
As for the woman who won the SAS thing, she wasn't the fastest or the strongest but by God she overcame the most to get right through to the finish. Never mind the heart of a lion, she had the heart of a bloody dragon. That was why she won, entirely fairly. She was amazing.
There's no way that was rigged. No special forces service would let their challenge be rigged to favour anyone. The instructors don't give free passes.

Seems like a good idea. I have to decide on a Thursday if I want to buy a ticket on a Saturday because it takes me that long to decide what outfit to wear |

For some yes. They're usually easy to spot and avoid but one or two clothe it in faux empathy. |
