How far have you travelled to meet someone off here?

For regular couples - unlimited
For local meets - 50 miles max
For party's/events/clubs - 100
As a rule, I try and stick with these as I've been badly burnt too many times, especially travelling all the way to Canterbury, booking the hotel, paying for the hotel for the couple (who lived 30 mins away) not to turn up!  |

On this site...other end of Bedford.
On other sites...Sheffield and Reading, me paying for hotel rooms both times. Both these times was totally worth it. Reading was a one-off, never saw her again but still talk with her on Facebook. Sheffield was the start of something very special. Reduced the risk of no-show by a lot of dialogue beforehand, including lengthy telephone conversation. |

We don't travel far with the express purpose of meeting anyone and I don't think we would.
However, we do travel around a lot and meet people all over while traveling. We also drove from Leeds down to Devon to go to Secrets for some friends' party and to Ab fabs for a birthday bash. So we've traveled pretty far for clubs and events, but not a meet, per se. |

When i was meeting I'd say about 2 hours away/ 90 miles ish , though due to my location it takes about 40 minutes before I get to a main road anyway, so can't be helped |

Regularly drive for 2-3 hours just for a coffee  think the furthest was a 9 and half hour round trip!!!
Furthest let down was just over 3 hours driving for a no show
From a different site I did go mad altogether and flew to Toronto for a meet!!! |

Well we travel for work and leisure, so we can arrange meets to suit our schedule, we wouldn't spend more than an hour travelling if it were purely for a meet.
I (fem) had a man fly over from London to meet me once (in the west of Ireland), I was good enough to meet him at the hotel next to the airport  |

The regular squeeze lives within an hour of me but works all over the shop. I'll regularly get a train to where he's working if I'm off that weekend; I quite like travelling. I do normally get a lift back home afterwards though. |

I've been burnt by it in the past so won't ever travel just to meet someone. I wouldn't even go half an hour out of my way if there's the potential for them to stand me up or mess me around. I'll meet someone if I'm travelling somewhere anyway though. |

Like I said, because they want to meet a particular person for some reason.
Having potential shags locally but choosing to travel for someone is pretty much the opposite of desperate, I'd say. I'd say it's very discerning. |

We have traveled to Ukraine twice to see friends we met on here. They are now lifetime friends. We sit on a 11 hour train journey too.
Or a 5 hour drive from Kiev.
Always great to see them and painful to leave but it's more than sex they are now part of our lives. |
