I find singing a good way to let your hair down and relieve some stress.
Whether its to a smooth slow song or a kickass rock ballad, its definitely helps make you feel better.
Anyone agree? |

I only ever sing in the car, windows up radio drowning my voice.
Cats have been known to cry and dogs howl when I 'sing'
Luckily I can use sign language |

"I sound good to myself but unfortunately no one else "
Press the sides of your palms into the sides of your head, just behind the jaw, and just in front of those square bits (name?) in front of your ears - this cuts off the vibrations when you speak/sing, and lets you hear what your voice sounds like to others, I do it all the time when I practice. |

It was on the news this morning - that being part of a choir can help with lots of health issues. So singing is officially good for you !
I sing in the shower and car. Once I forgot I had the windows open at a red light. Much to the entertainment of the car beside me.....

I love to sing. I'm still building confidence with my singing voice and get very embrassed if some hears me. I used to do a lot of harsh Death Metal growls and screams in bands but just makes me cough now. Highlight of most days is putting on something to sing along to while I cook dinner |
