Yes, dropped my phone once as the money came out. Bent down to pick it up and when I went to take the money it had gone back in

I think I would notice if I had a sum of money missing from my purse, be it £10 or £100. Nothing to do with an individuals hard earned cash and how they dispose of it

This has happened to me a few times. I've also walked away and the person behind me grabbed my attention by saying "oi you stupid bitch" before, too. I don't think £20 is worth being called that, they could've kept it and not be rude.

is not a volley, I think most people would notice £20 missing from their purse/wallet. If you have drawn cash out you must need it, either to buy something or because you have no cash. To suddenly find that missing must make you wonder.

I have asked for cashback before now, the woman hadn't given me it but I hadn't noticed until I got home ( the supermarket were waiting for to call so I got it back ) Sometimes if you are thinking about how many fishfingers you need for tea or more important things on your mind makes you be a bit absent minded sometimes....it happens

Lol is there really nothing in between "money no object lifestyle" and scratting around for every last tenner? I'm certainly not rich, miles away from it, but I've lost money in bags and stuff plenty of times before. This thread is so weird.

I didn't know that about cash points, im wuite reassured to hear it though because forgetting and walking away is the kind of thing I'd do

I forgot to collect the cash and walked off. Noticed when I got to the shop and no money in my wallet.

Went back and explained to the bank staff and called me the next morning to say when they cashed up they were £100 over for the day so come and collect it. That was cool.

"I think op was telling us a fact and not expecting a volley cos they made a mistake x

is not a volley, I think most people would notice £20 missing from their purse/wallet.

I've done that too, but noticed it before it was told to me and trust me I have an awful lot on my mind

I was half tempted to write bully for you then but thought it sounded childish so I won't

So I will say some of us obviously are not as good as you with remembering straight away.

Some of us have to be"

I must have too much money then

"45 secs isn't it? Xi dont know i only found out today as i may have left the money in the machine last week and the girl in the bank told me and low and behold it had been credited back to me

So you didn't notice you had not got the amount of cash on you!

well i did but hadnt worked out what had happened to it,

If you are on a budget, surely you know exactly where you money is, what you have spent and what your balances should be. Unless you are on a money is no object lifestyle

not sure what my finances as to do with it or how i look after them

It's just that I watch mine, like to know how what money I have means spendings within my budget.

I think I would notice if I had a sum of money missing from my purse, be it £10 or £100. Nothing to do with an individuals hard earned cash and how they dispose of iti did notice i just didnt know where it had gone

But that's what I was saying, I would worry and rack my brain as to what had happened to itr

listen with whats going off in my life the last of my worries is what the fuck have i done with £20

Don't judge, people can and are worse of than you and do worry about £20do you actually know what your talking about i have no idea why you came on this thread as it certainly wasnt to answer the op. How the fuck me not caring about £20 compared to whats happening in my life is judging others is beyond me

I thought the forums were open to anyone, not just people who agree with OP.

I gave my thoughts, if you chose to read more into it, then so be itis that because you cant come up with a sensible answer and you told me not to judge.

Why should I need to answer a question, answered many times. And tbh you do seem to judge as do others.

are you actually replying on the right thread "

I thought copying the quotes made that obvious, but maybe the quote went back in the ATM

We all have different things to bear, I know that other peoples life's are harder than others. You do not know my circumstances and I would NEVER play the card. Some people love to say what they are doing, where they are going and how much they spend. I don't. And you don't know me and I never say I am better than anyone else. I prefer to keep my private life private. This is a supposedly fun site

"That if you draw money out the cash machine and forget to take it if noone uses the machine and whips it it gets sucked back up after so long"

Yeah I did this once at a sainsburies one, was about 9pm on a Thursday and I get paid at midnight, was expecting a couple of hundred quid at best.

Was getting the cash for a night out, turns out it had gone in early and two grand was sitting there! I did a bit of a dance and skipped joyfully back off to the car without picking the cash up

From what I have read above...there was only one person judging and it certainly wasn't the lady who wasn't arsed, or in a hurry to make her bank account a joint one.
