Yesterday morning, whilst still naked and in bed, C's phone starts making a new noise.
She picks it up and starts fiddling with it as we both discuss what it's doing.
Hey look, it's one of our grandsons chatting.
Lots of laughter in the background, "mum, it's on camera mode".
Didn't know it could do that.
Still,not as bad as when I couldn't get the WiFi to work at the local Wetherspoons, asked the young couple behind the bar to try and gave them my phone.
" it's easy, says them, like this ",tap tap tappety tap and " oh! ".
They both looked surprised and handed me back my phone which had gone straight to Fabs.
Ho hum.

i get amazed when i find out what my things can do and whenever i ask someone to help me with my internet it goes straight to fab apart from the time the nice young man in the bank was downloading the banks app for me and something came via text and he opened my texts to be greated with my last conversation |

I'm not used to my new phone noises yet and I don't always get a notification once the banner notification has gone. I have to go through all the possibilities to see who has messaged me. I'm terrible with Kik as I forget to check it. |

Just got this new smart phone if it is so smart why can't it do what I want easily ?? Like shout oi you have a text or num nuts you have a phone call press the green button so damn smart it sits make a dozen different noises and I don't know what any of them mean |

I used to be able to text one handed.
I used to be able to initiate a hands free voice conversation from a single button press on the squawk box hands free.
I used to get a full week from a single charge.
Whilst I get the whole mobile interweb thing, I want a phone that does the basics well, anything else is a bonus.
Ideally, I'd like a phone with a small screen and tactile keypad on one side for basics, and a touch screen on the other side for web and apps. |

Oh I have just found out it has a notification light yeah right this thing is the size of a pin head come on now with my eyes unless I got my glasses on I ain't seeing that give us a huge light like a beacon in the night not only would you know you had a call or text but also it would aid when you have that brain fart moment and forget where you put it about 2000w should be bright enough |

It can provided you program it to say "oi you have a text" or "num nuts you have a phone call press the green button".
It is very easy to do. Start by opening the user manual and reading it. It will tell you how to do things like that and lots more!;-)

User manual fttttt a little pamphlet that tells you how to charge it and turn it on the problem is if they supplied you with a user manual nowadays it would be like the encyclopaedia BrittAnica manuals contain the basic the rest is hidden on the phone in a secret area that you only stumble upon when you have broken everything it's a conspiracy I tell ya |

Why don't you get a voice recorder app, record those phrases, then set them as your desired notifications ? |

Download zedge from play store android or app store apple or store windows phone. That has loads of ringtones and alerts that'll help you |

Lol just my luck it will come on with the sounds of a screaming orgasm whilst I am talking to a client no I think I will leave the non descript bleeps and tones to be on the safe side could not handle a when Harry met Sally moment as I am discussing business lol |
