Is Slimming World in this solar system?
How do people get there?
They say there maybe 1 or 2 Planets hidden in the Milky Way, yummmm I like both!
Neither helps with slimming.
Sorry I shouldn't post on 4 cups coffee. |

PS
Slimming World didn't work for me I'm afraid. Not my bag at all (although I know plenty of people who have had great success with it)
I guess it's a case of horses for courses. If there was one method that suited everyone then everyone would be doing it and we'd be a nation of skinny-minnies |

We joined Slimming World nearly 5 weeks ago and we are both doing ok.
My weight crept up to over 17 stones a year or so ago, so I just cut back on my food intake and lost just over a stone myself.
Kate wanted to lose a couple of dress sizes and joined up, so I decided I'd join her for a bit of support.
So far I've lost another stone, and am down to 15st 1lb. Kate's lost 7lbs.
I'm finding that the "group" type environment is working for me.
I'm targeting myself with getting down to 14st by end of March.
I was always quite sporty in my younger years and never had a problem "getting in shape" but time catches up with all of us. |

weightwatches. I find slimming world terribly hard.. and to restrictive.
There is nothing I can not have..
but however, the thing that works best is Master as I have to plan in my exercise everyday..

You need to get the right mindset if you are going to be a successfull slimmer.
My secret, is that I have told myself that I can have anything I want, absolutely anything. For example, I cannot eat skinless chicken, so when I have a chicken dinner, I have it "skin on". If I want a chocolate bar, I have a chocolate bar.
But... because I know I can have it, I don't crave it, and I don't overdo it when I do have it.
If you get your head right, you can do anything. |

I'm firmly of the belief that everyone who is over weight knows exactly the reason(s) for their personal weight issue.
For some it'll be too much of the wrong sort of food, others won't take enough exercise whilst for others it'll be a combination of both.
I was a 'combination' tubby. Too much fizzy drink and too little running about.
I cut out all the Irn Bru and Lemonade and went back to swimming on a regular basis.
16 stones down to 12 stones in just under 3 years. |
