We watched it last night... not really batman vs superman, only a small percent of film is them fighting, should be more superman and batman against lex Luther, was really long, enjoyed the end of it , Mr enjoyed most of it |

It does what t says on the tin. Not more, not less.
I quite enjoyed the car chase part of it, very nice and good to watch in the cinema with a good sound system.
I couldn't understand the young age of some children in the cinema though, I tought there was far too much violence in it for younger children to watch? |

After the first viewing I was left confused, but mildly entertained.
2nd viewing I understood it much more and got a better experience because of that. |

Thought it was a mix of shit and madness. The director did what he does with films ie 300 and the follow up,Sucker punch. If you've seen these films you will know it's all very strange action scenes with mental music just rammed into the mix.
Was gutted as that and suicide squad are the films I wanna see this year |

Watched it on Kodi. It was a shit copy but I didn't want to spend £950,000,000 on cinema tickets and popcorn to see a film I was skeptical about.
I made the right choice as it is bloody dreadful.

It was really good the only problem was editing other than that it was good and sets up the justice league.
The End of Batman V Superman sets up the Justice League really nicely anyone that knows what Ding , Ding , Ding Ding means and the motherbox and parademons knows who is coming next. |

I thought it a passable film in my snobby opinion. I like Batmans voice changer, but Benjamin Affleck has an un-enjoyable face to look at and crap eyes...
I believe they set up the justice league but that it was lazy. They were introduced by an email.
I think the following films could be good.

Personally I was looking forward to this film and I thought it was a bit meh
I felt the cut wasn't great in parts and superman is to dark for me. The score and music was fine but definatley 2 distinct acts - first act quite slow, second act crazy mental.
I am hoping that civil war is a lot better |

Not at all, because Batman Begins was an origin story and consequently it is reasonable to allow for that sort of pacing.
BvS is pitched as a world colliding, gladiator match. But instead audiences got half the film which was an almost political thriller revolving around Superman's place on earth and Bruce Wayne digging up secrets on the future Justice League members.
And that's only the problems with pacing. |

I just saw the extended cut, it's the first time I had seen it, over three hours long but it was good, apparently the scenes they cut out made so much more sense to the original film shown in the cinema, like major bits!!
Bit long for me but hey I managed to stay awake for it!!

That's what confuses me a bit about this whole thing. From what I understand about this movie, BATMAN is extremely burned out at this point. He is at his wits end, and ready to totally give up. But I suppose all these meta-humans showing up sort of 'recharges' him and gives him a new outlook, and makes him want to keep going.
Still, I find it a bit weird that he is supposed to have been around for 20 years, and SUPERMAN, FLASH, and AQUAMAN are just now showing up??

Finally caught up with this film on blu ray. As someone who hated the idea of Ben Affleck as Batman I was thinking it would be waste of money.
In fact I found it enjoyable and it had me gripped and even though I knew the ending I completely forgot it was coming. Yes it has its wonky moments and moments of incoherence (Jesse Eisenberg I mean you), and it is not in the same league as Dr Strange but adopting a brain off mode it was great fun. Reappraisal of Suicide Squad anyone? |

Suicide squad is very good.
I didn't dislike BvS but it was a very long film and the editing made it a very confusing film.
Suicide Squad however didn't take itself too seriously, was easy to follow and no man or woman could complain about Harley Quin.
Very worth watching in my opinion. |
