Do you lie?
Our ages are true to the day, I've watched mine jump to 49 today (yep it's my birthday)
Over the few years we've been meeting people here, a few have admitted they have subtracted a few years off . Who's going to admit to doing the same? |

Middle aged women who falsify their age for discretion never seem to go older. Some even forget to hide their face pictures from their profile, silly ladies. |

hbd.
my age is exact and true, i only know how old i am coz of this site lol.
on another site, where i joined to honey pot an ex, i put my age as 10 yrs younger though so he didn't know it was me. anyway he didn't fall for it and i put my boobs as my profile pic so he recognised me and when i hacked his account i saw him telling a woman he chatted to regular about me being on there...haha, fun times. he was arranging to meet her, the hypocrite. anyway i cheated on him with a guy on that site and told him then we got back together. yeah. |

Both of our ages are correctly stated on our profile.
Having met a man who we felt looked older than the 45 claimed on his profile, we were amused to see him return recently having lost another 5 years |

why should anyone be ageist... we aren't. Its unimportant if everyone flirts and gets on... although I get some of the younger and more single people just looking for a fuck rather than a swing may be a bit more fussy... We've given many a 20 something a good night and no one worried about age... if the attraction is there its there xx

Some just don't want to fuck oldies or people young enough to be their kids. That's allowed. |

"My age is just slightly off because I never share my real DOB on a website.
Smart man.
I would have thought that was standard?!"
Its a felony to state wrong age on some websites. Though it is a standard on social websites or forums I would say. |

Happy birthday!
I don't lie about my age, my other half who I met on here did, he knocked five years off. He was genuinely surprised I hadn't and said I could knock ten years off easily.
I know that I could, but if I said I was forty five I'd have to remember to knock ten years of my thirty three year old too! |

Ours are the right age but not the right DOB. But after conversing with some on here we have lowered our age limits as it has become more apparent that others lie about their age.
We wouldn't rule out much older but would rather meet them in person first and go from there, for us it's just used more as a fab filter than a limit |

Mine is a little bit out because I don't put my real date of birth into things if it's not necessary.
I've met men before who were a few years older than their profile said. I decided whether I wanted to meet them based on photos and/or a social meet though, so I don't really give a shit if they're actually 45 not 40. The "what else are they lying about" thing isn't something that bothers me - they're probably lying about all kinds of stuff, I certainly am. |

I don't see the point in lying .I'm not that desperate that I have to lie in order to get round filters or get a chance at a meet. I'd rather meet those who actually want a 46 year old and not something I'm not . |

"Does it really matter tbh?
It does to us, yes.
and me,lies irritate me."
Me too!! I think what else are they lying about .Also find it kind of manipulative as they are just doing what ever to further their own agenda . |

"We have found its men who knock about ten years off. A chap we were chatting to forgot himself and was telling us about his first lads holiday which he would have gone on aged 8 if the age he told us was true . If you're going to lie do it properly "
My grandfather told me; if you tell one lie you have to tell a second to cover the first.

I have met people and thought 'you must have either be lying about your age or you've had a hard life'
whereas I often get told I could shave at least 5 years off my age but tbh I don't see the point |

When you get to a certain age it's pretty easy to suss out that you've shaved 5 years off your age, especially when you meet in the flesh.
I'd imagine most tweak their ages on here to bring themsleves in line with filters. There's a lot of 49 year olds for example |

Same for me.
Only a couple of things on my profile are true. It's just a shag ffs. I don't care if people lie about anything. |

Happy Birthday!
Our ages are correct, can't see the point of fibbing.
Even if you can't tell someone has fibbed by their looks alone they often give themselves away in general conversation.

We arranged to meet a couple once . Their profile stated ages 48 & 52 & also said 'can meet anytime except Tuesday mornings" .
Well , we met them for a drink and it was immediately apparent they'd knocked 20+ years off ! their profile ages .....and the reason they couldn't meet Tuesday's ? . They were in the queue down at the Post Office collecting their pensions ! .
True story ! |
