It could hardly be any worse! Fingers crossed we at least get a fight for pole this time.

Has it, from what they just said, it's the same as Melbourne

They had a meeting about changing quali (some thought back to 2015 rules) but the teams were only given the option of elimination in Q1 and Q2, and a "2015" Q3. Red Bull and Mclaren voted against this and as a unanimous vote was needed, they had to stick with what they had in Melbourne.

Once again, the same crap Q3 has been predicted by teams and drivers.

Ive just watched the BTCC quali, only 30mins but much more exciting right up to the flag!

No better.

What a joke. Bernie and the FIA need to sort it out.

I know Bernie said he's not responsible for the new turbos, and the new formats, but really?

It's a one man show...

The ending was exciting enough. Still time on the clock at the end though This format needs scrapping nonetheless. Let's go back to last years format.

The turbos would be fine if they didn't have to watch the fuel usage... would be much better with proper anti lag, lots of flames on overrun/gear changes

They just need to admit they've made a mistake with the new format and revert back to 2015 quail until they can sort it, or as Hamilton suggested run a few different formats for the next 3 or 4 races until they find something that works, at a guess I'd say it will be something similar to previous years!
