Another one sadly departs.

A staple of my childhood comedy _iewing.

RIP to him (and everyone else famous or by who sadly dies today before anyone chips in to say it)

Sad, but it will happen to us all one day.

Don't mean to be disrespectful, but I suppose the BBC, will be able to show endless repeats, of him, and Ronnie Barker.

"FOUR CANDLES ...."

Just saw that sketch being shown on sky news. Never fails to make me laugh. I loved watching the 2 Ronnies when I was a kid. The Phantom Raspberry blower was another favourite.

By (user no longer on site)  over a year ago

Left behind a legacy of laughter, that will be enjoyed for years to come still, and when you think if the comedians if today that have worked with him and taken advice from him, its going to be a sad day for the industry, as well as the public that loved him

A gent, and a true national treasure

Rip.
