On the 9th July, Hull (City Of Culture) is holding a mass nude photographic event with a renowned photo artist. Apparently 'Participants are to be covered in cosmetic body make-up, before assembling to form the multiple colours of the sea and create abstract shapes for the camera'.
Sounds like it could be a great place for a social. Who's going? |

All sounds a bit gimmicky to me .. are they trying too hard?
You can imagine the creative types bouncing on their space hoppers in a visioning meeting trying to think of something 'outrageous' to get some publicity - ah I know, mass nudity! |

I'm not a big fan of art, especially the pretentious kind. But I do like interactive art, so this sounds interesting.
All modern art is a bit gimmicky. I was at the tate in London last year and one exhibit was a mirror. Another exhibit was a glass of water.
At least mass nudity is interesting. |
